Stephanie values a warm and nurturing environment where her clients feel understood, valued, and empowered. Stephanie’s approach is to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship with each individual and assist each client to improve self esteem, mental health and wellbeing.

In addition to providing a safe and non-judgemental environment, Stephanie tailors evidence-based techniques so that they are most suited to each client’s needs, including encouraging feedback to ensure therapy is on track and aligns with the individual’s needs. She uses an integrative approach that incorporates treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, she draws on Positive Psychology principles and Mindfulness-Based techniques.

Stephanie is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience in working with adults (of all ages) with a wide variety of presentations including mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety), low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress management, parenthood, work-related concerns, and health concerns. Further, she has worked with clients to assist with personal growth and career development.

Stephanie works with children (of all ages) and their families. She has experience working with neurodevelopmental differences, such as Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and other presentations, such as school-related stress, social skills development, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, bullying, and mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety). She works collaboratively with children, parents, educators, and health professionals to support each child’s needs. She tailors her work to different stages of development and individual needs. To build the therapeutic relationship, Stephanie utilises individual strengths and includes playful elements in her sessions.
